Small resting movement does not automatically mean a controller is defective. Compare repeated hands-off tests and check whether the same movement occurs in your game. A game may apply a deadzone that this page cannot inspect or change.
Each axis is reported from −1 to +1. Stick offset is the distance from the centre expressed as a percentage of one axis's full travel; diagonal corners can exceed 100%. The resting summary reports the average X/Y position and the largest offset seen during five seconds.
